I got this ugly old bar stool at D.I. for $3. It was kind of hard to vision it ever being cute, but I decided to give it a try. It ended up being a fast and easy project. Here's what I did:
- Cut 3 inches off the legs so it was the perfect height for my bar (my husband did this)
- Painted it white
- Covered the seat with cute fabric- I used staples and hot glue to get it to fold under tight
- Distressed the edges with sand paper
- Hot glued felt to the bottoms so it won't scratch the floor
